Vocations
At Baptism all sons and daughters of God are summoned to begin following Jesus Christ in holiness of life. Regular Sunday observance, daily prayers, works of charity and learning the faith all comprise this discipleship lifestyle as one aims to become and remain in sanctity. In Confirmation, the Holy Spirit is bestowed fully so that all those fully initiated might live the faith in the world. At some point, the Lord may begin to call a person to a path beyond baptismal discipleship. We refer to this calling as a "vocation". The Vocations Office of the Diocese of Evansville facilitates that discernment process. Click here to learn more.
